Chromax® Golf Sponsors USA Minigolf Pros Traveling to Kosovo

Boulder, Colorado, June 6th, 2016 Chromax® Golf – For the first time in fifteen years, the United States is sending a team of Professional Putters to compete at a World Minigolf Federation (WMF) event.  Prishtina, Kosovo is hosting the 2016 World Adventure Golf Masters competition on June 25th and 26th. Five-time defending team champions from Germany will headline a field of countries competing on the par-64 course.

American players will all putt with USGA and R&A approved Chromax® GREEN and GOLD Optimal Visibility (O.V.) golf balls with custom 2016 WMF Logo.

The Professional Putters representing the United States ProMinigolf Association (USPMG) consist of:  Greg Newport (South Carolina), Geoff Mosk (Texas), Matt Male (Ohio), Mike Johnson (North Carolina) and Matt Bellner (Texas).  “We have a very talented team with many state, regional and national titles between them; the opportunity to compete with the best in the world is extremely exciting,” said United States coach Jon Drexler (Tennessee).  “Competing for one’s country at a world event is an incredible experience and we are thankful for the USPMGA and Chromax®, our lead sponsor, for their support in making this trip possible.”

During this event, the World Minigolf Federation will launch a 6 month campaign for Minigolf admission in the Olympic Games “Tokyo 2020”.
